In what ways has God shown you his faithfulness this year?

Like any other year, our ministry has experienced both highs and lows, but what I've been constantly reminded of this year is that God has remained faithful through every situation.

You might recall that at the beginning of this year, our Chinese ministry partners were facing new challenges in their work. New internet regulations and stricter laws were making it increasingly difficult to share the gospel and their major media channels were being shut down one after another.

But God remained faithful and opened new doors for our Chinese ministry partners. They have pivoted to publishing books that they distribute directly to China and Chinese churches in North America. These books are providing encouragement to Chinese speaking believers and reaching non-believers in a new way. One of these books is a collection of testimonies from Peking University graduates and contains the story I'm sharing with you today.

As you read Samuel's story, I hope you are reminded of God's love and faithfulness this year, especially as we reflect this Christmas season on God sending his Son to show us his amazing love.

Prayer Requests

• Pray for believers and seekers in China who are looking online for gospel materials despite government restrictions. Pray for their safety as well as their ability to find the answers to the questions they may have.
  
  
• Pray for peacefulness and calmness during the busy Christmas season. May we each find time to reflect on the wonderful gift of God’s Son, and that the joy we have in that gift will be reflected in our lives each day.
  
  
• Many of our ministry teams are providing songs, devotions, and other content for churches to use in their Christmas services. Pray for our partner churches around the world as they prepare Christmas messages and times of fellowship.
