Friend,
Today I want to bring you a story from our Russian language ministry. And while this story is from before war broke out in Eastern Europe, I think you'll find that it may be even more important now than it was before.
That’s because Olga’s story represents just one of the many people who have been hurting in Eastern Europe, and that you have helped reach with the good news of Jesus.
While Olga may not live in a part of Eastern Europe that has been directly affected by the war, I can tell you that many of our radio and internet listeners and partner church members mentioned in this story are directly affected. Many are undergoing unimaginable pain and tragedy right now.
What’s more, Lika, your partner in ministry who you’ll read about in the story, was living in Ukraine’s capital of Kiev just before the first attacks there. We’re praising God that Lika and her mother made it out of Ukraine quickly and safely, but we’re also mourning with her as the city she has called home is attacked. Lika is already reaching hurting people with the gospel in Poland where she is now. She is serving and ministering to Ukrainian refugees who are crossing the border.
This Easter, please keep everyone connected to our Russian language ministry in your prayers as they navigate the ongoing war and find new ways to bring messages of hope to those who are feeling hopeless.
